All of our vinyl is printed to order in the UK - nothing is mass produced or sitting in storage.
That means your vinyl is printed fresh, just for you, once your order is placed. This helps reduce waste, keeps colours crisp, and ensures you’re getting the best possible quality rather than old stock.
Because we print in small batches, orders are usually sent to print once a week.
Our current turnaround time is up to 2 weeks.
Most weeks, your order will be printed and dispatched sooner but during busy periods, we may wait until we have enough orders to run a full print batch. This helps keep quality high and waste low.
If you ever need something urgently, you’re always welcome to message us before ordering.
Once your order has been printed and dispatched, delivery typically takes:
- UK: 3-5 working days (standard delivery)
- You’ll receive a dispatch email as soon as it’s on the way
- Outside UK - will vary depending on location so please get in touch.
High-quality peel and stick vinyl is designed to be removable without harming typical wall paints or finishes . When you’re ready to take it down, start at a corner and peel slowly (ideally at a 45° angle); using a hairdryer on low heat can loosen the adhesive and help it come off cleanly . On well-prepped surfaces (clean, fully cured paint), it should leave little to no residue or damage. If any sticky residue remains, it can be gently cleaned with soapy water or a mild adhesive remover.
These vinyl films are very versatile. They stick well to most smooth, clean surfaces – for example, painted drywall or plaster, wood or laminate furniture, glass and mirrors, metal, and even over ceramic tiles . Many people use them on walls, doors, cabinet faces, appliances, and windows for decorative updates. Lightly textured walls can sometimes hold vinyl but very rough or porous surfaces (like brick or heavy stucco) are not ideal . Always ensure the surface is dust-free and dry for best results.
It’s quite DIY-friendly – no professional needed in most cases . Applying peel-and-stick vinyl is similar to placing a large sticker: you peel off the backing and press it onto the surface, smoothing as you go . You’ll want a few basic tools (a tape measure, scissors, a utility knife, and a plastic smoothing tool are recommended) to help trim and eliminate bubbles . With patience and proper technique, even first-timers can get great results.
The key is to go slowly and smooth as you apply. Don’t remove the entire backing at once – peel a little at a time, and press the vinyl down from the center outward with a squeegee, stiff card, or cloth . This pushes air out to the edges as you work. If you notice a bubble forming, stop and lift that section of vinyl back up gently (the adhesive won’t fully set immediately) and reapply it, smoothing out the air pocket. For very smooth surfaces like glass, you can lightly mist the surface with water which allows you to reposition the vinyl and squeegee out air, giving a bubble-free result.
Yes – during installation you can usually reposition it. The adhesive on most removable vinyl builds up strength over several hours, so initially the film can be peeled back up carefully and realigned if you make a mistake . Just take care not to stretch or crease the vinyl when lifting it. (On very delicate surfaces like fresh paint or paper-faced drywall, avoid too many reapplications.) Once you’re happy with the placement, press it down firmly and it will fully adhere in place after a few hours.
Removable vinyl can actually last for years if you want it to . The lifespan depends on the quality of the vinyl, the surface prep, and environmental conditions. Our vinyl can stay up 3-5 years without issues, if not exposed to extreme heat or sunlight but generally even longer than that. In other words, it’s only “temporary” when you decide – many modern peel-and-stick vinyls are designed to be a semi-permanent décor solution that you can later take down easily, rather than something that falls off quickly on its own.
Yes, you can but with some precautions. Vinyls are moisture-resistant, so places like a bathroom, kitchen backsplash, or utility room are fine as long as the surface is dry during application. In high-humidity areas, ensure you have good ventilation because excessive steam can weaken the adhesive over long periods . Avoid direct water contact (for example, don’t put regular wall vinyl inside a shower where it’s constantly soaked). For best results in splash-prone spots, seal the edges with a clear sealant once applied . Properly applied, vinyl can hold up nicely in humid environments.
Smooth, flat surfaces are ideal for adhesive vinyl, but some products can work on lightly textured walls. For example, peel and stick vinyl can often adhere to a mild “orange peel” texture if it’s clean and the vinyl is a thicker, high-quality type (which ours is). The rougher the surface, the less contact the adhesive has, so very textured or bumpy walls (or raw wood) may not hold vinyl well. If your walls are textured, it’s wise to test a sample piece first to see if it sticks properly over a few days. In general, the flatter and more dust-free the surface, the better the adhesion.
Yes, our peel & stick vinyl is fully wipeable and designed for real, everyday life.
You can clean it with a damp cloth or gentle household spray, making it ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms, kids’ spaces and anywhere that needs regular wiping. Spills, splashes and fingerprints are no problem.
We recommend avoiding abrasive sponges, harsh chemicals or bleach, as these can damage the printed surface over time just the same as you would with painted or wrapped surfaces.
In short:
life happens, and this vinyl can handle it.
Not at all – today’s self-adhesive vinyl comes in premium finishes that can look as good as traditional decor. Our high quality vinyl has a soft matte finish, so once on the wall or furniture, they don’t scream “sticker” – they look like a professional finish . In fact, unless you touch it, many people won’t realize a vinyl decor piece is temporary because it can look very polished and stylish.
Reusability is limited. Our vinyl is generally intended for one-time application – when you peel them off, they lose some stickiness. If you plan to try reusing a piece, remove it slowly without stretching it and stick it back onto its backing paper or waxy side of freezer paper to store. Keep in mind each reapplication will weaken the adhesive, so success varies. In general, expect vinyl to be removable without damage, but not always reusable.
Because all vinyl is printed to order, we’re unable to accept returns once your design has been printed.
If you’re unsure about colour, pattern, or surface compatibility, we strongly recommend ordering a sample before placing a full order.
If there’s an issue with your order, please contact us - we’ll always help where we can.
Our vinyl is printed using high quality inks designed to keep colours vibrant over time when used indoors.
In normal indoor conditions, colours will stay bold and beautiful for years. However, like most printed surfaces, prolonged exposure to direct, strong sunlight (for example, south-facing windows or conservatories) may cause gradual fading over time.
For best longevity, we recommend:
- Using indoors only
- Avoiding constant direct sunlight
- Ordering a sample to see colours in your own space and lighting
This is also why we print to order - every piece you receive is freshly printed, not old stock that’s been sitting around fading before it even reaches your home.
